Why is it called Hon Chong? The answer may lie in the arrangement of the stone blocks.

Like a magical arrangement of nature, this place is made up of countless large rocks, stacked on top of each other to last over the years. At night, yellow lights shine on the cliffs creating an extremely shimmering and beautiful image. When you pass here in the evenings, you will see it with your own eyes.

Giant stone hand

Like the hand of a giant, the palm facing out to the sea creates curiosity for anyone who comes here. This giant hand attracts all visitors' eyes when visiting, and is a place that you definitely want to try and take a photo of. Many people believe that when they try the stone hand, luck will also come to them.

The giant stone hand is located at almost the highest position, so to reach this position, visitors need to go through a long journey, overcoming hundreds of obstacles including large and small rocks. Then climb up the largest rock through the stairs to reach the location of that giant hand. Although moving is not too difficult, it still contains some dangers, so visitors are advised to be careful and avoid the risk of slipping when visiting.

A large block of stone sandwiched between two giant blocks of stone on both sides creates a very thrilling feeling every time you pass by. As if there was some arrangement for the stone to be placed and then lie there forever, creating a path that is perhaps unique in Vietnam. Usually when people come here, they will stand below and place their hands underneath as if to catch the stone from falling.

Legend of Hon Vo

The love between husband and wife is also compared to the scenic Hon Chong with the beautiful image of a rock in the distance from the main rocky area, called Hon Vo. Another strange arrangement of creation, the image is like a wife standing and sending her husband off to sea. The legend of Nha Trang's Husband and Wife Island was also molded and spread from here.

This story is also spread with other anecdotes. It is the story of a hardworking fisherman couple. Legend has it that once upon a time, there was a couple who worked as fishermen and loved each other very much. One day, on the way back from fishing, the boat accidentally encountered a big wave and threw the couple into the sea. The lucky husband was able to swim in and cling to the rock, but the unlucky wife was swept away by the waves and could not be saved. The two of them died without being able to be together, because their love for each other was so great, they turned into rocks standing not too far apart...

Nha Trang Bay Assembly Hall

The building has a very unique architecture with impressive tiled roofs. Inside the assembly hall displays historical evidence of Vietnam's sovereignty over Truong Sa and Hoang Sa. The display of these evidence artifacts is extremely important in preserving the nation's patriotic traditions. Maps of world history show that Truong Sa and Hoang Sa actually belong to Vietnam's territory, denying China's sovereignty.

While Hoang Sa belongs to Da Nang, Truong Sa belongs to Khanh Hoa province. In addition, Khanh Hoa is also a place with ideal natural conditions with many large and small islands inside and outside Nha Trang Bay. So that Sea and island tourism of Khanh Hoa develop very strongly.
